Botulinum toxin stops muscles contracting. This is often used to smooth wrinkles on the upper face however there are other treatments available...
Toxin can be used to:
- reduce underarm sweating
-Reduce the masseter muscle responsible for chewing to improve jaw pain whilst slimming the face
-Treat a ‘gummy smile’, minimising the amount of gum shown when smiling
-Treat ‘bunny lines’ that crease at the side of the nose when animated
- Reduce the downward pull at the corners of the mouth
- Smooth the ‘jelly roll’ that often bulges under the eyes when smiling
- Reduce the dimpling in the chin that can develop with age
With the exception of underarm sweating and masseter reduction, these other treatments are best combined with upper face treatments (prices below).
